A day worth making your own.

The inlet’s salt marsh is the draw, while ocean swimming and garden walks are separate outings. Choose the setting first; then check admission, access, and current advisories.

01FOR A NATURE DAY

Give the park room to unfold.

Huntington Beach State Park has ocean beach, a marsh causeway, and Atalaya. The park posts admission, hours, capacity advisories, and path conditions; check its current access guide before planning around a particular walkway.

02FOR AN INLET EVENING

Stay with the marsh view.

The MarshWalk runs beside a saltwater estuary and offers waterfront dining; it is not an ocean beach entrance. Brookgreen Gardens is another outing for sculpture and botanical gardens. Check each destination’s current hours and admission before making plans.

These are area ideas, not amenities or walking-distance promises for a particular stay. Confirm the route from the rental address and recheck official hours, admission, and access before visiting.
